adding a copper rib, lead under-wire, or a bead head. I have also tied an all black Prince Nymph
which makes a very good stone fly nymph imitation.
When tying the body, I use 4 peacock herls, and wrap the tying thread around them for additional
strength. This will prevent the teeth of the trout you catch from breaking the herls, causing them
to unravel. After making the body, wrap the brown hackle, and pluck off any excess from the top of
the fly. Then tie in the white goose biots.
