Fuzzball

Recipe

Hook:Dry fly hook sized to match the natural mayflies
Tail:Barred Mallard or Wood Duck
Abdomen:Dry fly dubbing to match the natural mayflies
Thorax:Same dubbing as abdomen
Wing:Clump of Snowshoe Hare's Foot fur
Notes:Snowshoe Hare's Foot can be a little difficult to work with at first, but a little effort is well worth the results. It is a very useful material for a variety of flies. You can buy it in both natural (creamy-white) and in dyed gray-dun, and perhaps other colors as well. A pair of hare's feet will cost you about $5, and should be easy enough to find. I know for sure Cabelas stocks it.

The example fly is a size 18 Blue Wing Olive.
